Wordle 449: September 11, 2022 Hints & Answer

The new day brings a new Wordle for players to solve and the September 11th word is a tough one to figure out. Today's answer is definitely one of the more difficult words to solve in recent weeks and that is due to multiple things. There are some small tricks in the word itself, it's uncommon in normal conversation, and it uses a less common format with its vowels. It's not enough to force players to give up on the game, but it is definitely a head-scratcher for the day.

Some players prefer a harder challenge though and those fans can find it in one of Wordle's many copycat games. Quordle is a great example of ramped-up difficulty with the same type of gameplay. In Quordle, players are tasked with solving four Wordle puzzles at the exact same time. Learning to balance each puzzle is a challenge all on its own and an increase in critical thinking is involved in solving the day successfully.

Today's Wordle Answer (September 11th #449)

Wordle September 11th 449 Attempt

The September 11th Wordle answer is TIBIA.

Not to be confused with the fibula, the tibia is the larger bone between the knee and the ankle. For our starting Wordle word today we used IRATE. This provided three incorrectly placed letters with 'I', 'A', and 'T', alongside two completely incorrect letters. Our second attempt was TAILS which solidified the correct placement of the 'T' and gave us two more incorrect locations for 'I' and 'A'.

Working with what we had we tried TITAN as our third attempt and locked in the correct spot for 'I' but were at a standstill on where to go from there. There really weren't too many options and the correct word didn't quickly pop into our heads, but after a bit of thinking, we took a shot in the dark with TIBIA and scored a lucky win-in-four. Another successful day of Wordle, now go see Barbarian in theaters, it's a phenomenal horror movie.
