This is a golden age for content creation, and many of the streamers that are currently competing for customers have been working very hard to make sure that they have enough material to make a subscription worth it. Disney+ has been leading the charge, constantly producing new series and giving new seasons to existing ones, to make sure that there is something for everyone hungry for something new to binge.

Updated on September 30th, 2022, by Guillermo Kurten: The Disney+ TV catalog continues to grow on top of the solid amount of content that's been released on the streamer in the last couple of months. Marvel Studios is set to wrap up the final two episodes of its latest live-action series, while Lucasfilm's spy-driven Star Wars venture will continue its run after a refreshing premiere late last month.

Though Marvel Studios is finishing up its current serialized MCU series, the studio will be premiering a new TV project to the canon. This time, though, it's in a new format by Marvel's standard in the form of a TV special. Werewolf by Night will take a look at the more darkly supernatural and monstrous side of the Marvel universe with its titular character.

Directed by Michael Giacchino -- composer for The Batman's score -- Werewolf by Night will take a classic "movie monster" approach, following the story of a group of monster hunters competing for a valuable treasure as they come face to face with its lead character. Werewolf by Night is set with a runtime of 53 minutes and premieres on October 7th.

Star Wars: Tales Of The Jedi

Similar to Marvel Studios' Werewolf by Night, Lucasfilm will also have a smaller-scale project up for streaming on the side of its current main series. Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi is an animated series of shorts split into two perspectives.

One follows Ahsoka Tano throughout various key moments in her life, while the other explores the younger days of Count Dooku as a Jedi before falling from grace as a Sith Lord. The series will be structured in an anthology-style format, similar to Lucasfilm's Star Wars anime series Visions. All six episodes of Tales of the Jedi will premiere on October 26th.

The Spectacular Spider-Man (Season 1)

Veteran Spider-Man fans will likely cite The Spectacular Spider-Man animated series as the best TV show the superhero has ever gotten. As such, it's also somberly looked back on as a show criminally cut short. The Spectacular Spider-Man enjoyed critical acclaim despite being canceled before a third season could enter production, namely for this canon's loving homage to the source material and impressive cast performances.

Looks can be deceiving, as the upbeat art direction of the series didn't stop it from exploring some nuanced, mature themes. Season 1 of The Spectacular Spider-Man will be added to Disney+ on October 19th.

She-Hulk: Attorney At Law (Episodes 8 & 9)

Marvel Studios' Ms. Marvel only just ended, but the next series is already well into its TV run in the form of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. The 9-episode series follows Tatiana Maslany's portrayal of Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk as she deals with life working as a lawyer while simultaneously juggling becoming a nearly-7-foot-tall hulk.

Mark Ruffalo's Bruce Banner returns to help his cousin control her abilities in this superhero-themed legal comedy. The show has lived up to the colorfully lighthearted affair it promised, and fans are still eagerly awaiting all the MCU characters that are set to appear alongside She-Hulk. More specifically, many fans are still eagerly anticipating the long-awaited guest appearance of a certain Man Without Fear, suit and all. Episodes 8 and 9 -- the season finale -- premiere on October 6th and 13th, respectively.

Andor (Episodes 5-8)

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was arguably the best movie in the Disney era so far, and also one of the most rewatchable entries in the Star Wars franchise. It was an emotionally gripping tale of covert operations that would prove to be one of the biggest catalysts for the Original Trilogy.

On paper, it doesn't seem like Andor would've introduced anything particularly exciting given the familiar timeline, but the show has proven to be more than worthwhile. The series' three-episode premiere was impressive, as it immediately showed off a sense of grit, groundedness, and tension that's genuinely refreshing for the Star Wars brand on Disney+ that's mostly been seen in The Mandalorian up to this point. Andor will aim to continue its promising start with episodes 5-8, premiering on October 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th, respectively.

The Orville (Seasons 1-3)

The Orville's crew

Though the show started off to a rocky start critically, The Orville's second and third seasons have turned the show into a charming sci-fi parody comedy. Taking a clear page from the classic Star Trek days, The Orville follows Seth McFarlane's protagonist Ed Mercer and his crew aboard the titular spacecraft as they run into a series of colorful galactic adventures.

The second season and third ongoing season have been positively received thanks to their tasteful blend of comedy and character-driven drama, sculpting the main cast into investing characters worth tuning in for. New episodes air on Thursdays on Hulu, while what's released so far will be added to Disney+ on August 10th.

Ms. Marvel

Marvel Studios' current series on the Disney+ slate is Ms. Marvel. The teenage superhero is fairly new to the comic book source material itself, with this live-action adaptation looking to convey the superhero-themed coming-of-age tone and story of Kamala Khan.

So far, Ms. Marvel has seemed to achieve just that, with these first four episodes garnering a strong critical reception for its endearing charm and young actress Iman Vellani's charismatic debut performance. All episodes of the series are now streaming.

Obi-Wan Kenobi

In what was likely the most highly-anticipated Star Wars project since the sequel trilogy, fan-favorite Ewan McGregor has returned after 17 years as franchise icon Obi-Wan Kenobi. The limited series of the same name is set between Episode III - Revenge of the Sith and Episode IV - A New Hope with the revered Jedi Master in exile as he finds himself on a quest to protect the young Princess Leia.

However, and thankfully so, Obi-Wan Kenobi will take the hero outside the sands of Tatooine as well, including an original planet/city called Daiyu. Even more tantalizing, this event series features the rematch of the century between Obi-Wan and the fallen Jedi-turned-Sith-Lord Darth Vader. The full series is available now.

Moon Knight

While Ms. Marvel is taking up the current spotlight, now is a good time for fans yet to catch up to binge Moon Knight. The nocturnal superhero is a fan favorite among comic book circles, with alter ego Marc Spector taking audiences on equal parts thrilling and intimate exploration of his traumatized psyche.

The series did well to tell a focused story in its own right, but Moon Knight also has some hints for the future that MCU fans will be eager to see. All six episodes of Moon Knight are available now.

Baymax!

2014's Big Hero 6 was a beloved surprise and dose of originality in the superhero genre. The movie follows a young robotics prodigy who forms a superhero duo with his late brother's healthcare robot, and it earned its praises for being such a beautifully and excitingly animated story that's as thrilling as it is emotionally resonating.

While Big Hero 6 didn't get a direct theatrical sequel, it did get a TV series on Disney Channel and will soon get another show in the form of Baymax!. As the title suggests, the spinoff will star the titular robot as the main character as he works as a nurse working throughout San Fransokyo. Baymax! is available to stream now.
